Cemented Solutions

The KLOCKNER VEGA and VEGA+ (NV and RV) prosthetic implant system has straight abutments for cementing. These grade-V titanium abutments are designed with a 4º taper and have an anti-rotational system for repositioning the crown in single-tooth restorations. The available transmucosal heights are 1, 2 and 3 mm. There are two prosthetic heights for cementing: 4.5 and 7 mm.

The KLOCKNER VEGA and VEGA+ (MV) implants have specific anatomical abutments in order to achieve the best aesthetic results. These grade-V titanium abutments are designed with a 4° taper. The available transmucosal heights are 2, 3 and 4 mm with a prosthetic height for cementing of 4.5 mm.

In cases where it is necessary to restore non-parallel implants, the VEGA and VEGA+ (NV and RV) prosthetic implant system has cementing abutments at 15º and 25º angles. These abutments are available in different transmucosal heights of 2 and 3 mm.

One of the new tissue preparation techniques is the BOPT (Biologically Oriented Preparation Technique), in which the tissues are guided periodontally through prosthetic restoration. The KLOCKNER VEGA and VEGA+ (MV and NV) prosthetic implant system has a straight abutment with a 2º axial-wall taper, for those clinicians who want to put this technique into practice.

All abutments for cement-retained solutions are fixed with original KLOCKNER screws. It is advisable not to exert tightening forces on the abutments and/or screws during the process of making the prosthesis. All the abutments mentioned include the screw.
